What You Need to Know

WATCH THIS FIRST
GETTING THERE

STEP 1

Put this in your GPS: 698 Orchard Dr in Rustburg, VA

 

Note: Use GOOGLE MAPS OR WAZE to navigate to the farmhouse. Do NOT use APPLE I-PHONE’S navigation because it will NOT take you to the APPLE orchard. 

Make sure your GPS takes you on Rocky Road (NOT Red House Rd) before you turn onto Orchard Drive.

STEP 2:

Turn LEFT onto Orchard Lane

 

STEP 3:

Go ¾ mile on gravel road. Go over short bridge. All cars and trucks allowed (just not big, industrial trucks!).

 

STEP 4:

Park in FRONT or in the BACK (up the hill). Entrance is in the BACK.

AGENDA OVERVIEW

We will walk through 7 simple, powerful steps to get your red cape flying higher than ever!

 

Wednesday, August 19:

Arrive any time after 6 pm and get settled in so you’re ready to go first thing in the morning. A salad bar dinner with wine (and conversation!) will be available until around 8:30 pm. 

 

Thursday, August 20:

Breakfast starts at 8 am. and we kick things off at 9 am sharp! It’s a full, active day until 5 pm. Then it’s some time to relax before dinner by Chef Tammy Brawley! 

 

Friday, August 21:

Breakfast starts at 8 am and we’re back at it at 9 am until 5 pm. More wine, more conversation, and more amazing food by Chef Tammy!

 

Saturday, August 22:

Breakfast starts a little earlier at 7 am. Our final session is 8 – 11 am. Leave with an OMG, that was amazing kinda feeling!

We’ll be having a healthy, tasty menu that considers any dietary needs and preferences. Coffee, tea, and water provided. 

 

Want wine, beer, other beverages, or specific snacks? Bring ’em!

COVID-19

Right now, everyone is healthy. Let’s keep it that way! We will have a group discussion about COVID-19 so we’re all on the same page. Here’s what to expect:

 

  • If you feel sick before the retreat, contact me immediately and plan to stay home! 

  • There will be a handheld, contactless thermometer to take your temperature when you arrive and available throughout the retreat.

  • Wash or sanitize your hands a lot. Everyone has their own bathroom, there are 2 half-baths, and sanitizer will be provided.

  • There will be materials around so we can sanitize surfaces as we use them.

  • Wearing masks is not required, but totally fine if you prefer.

  • There are lots of spaces inside and outside to spread out as needed.

WHAT TO BRING & KNOW
  • Your smile and willingness to laugh easily and often

  • Your openness to new thoughts and ideas

  • Your readiness to reflect on you and your business

  • Anything “unique” to your sleeping experience (e.g., fan!), Towels + linens provided

  • Wine, other drinks, or specific snacks you really want (a Food Lion is 10 minutes away)

  • Any fun board games you want to play

  • There’s WiFi in the house, though cellular service is stronger

  • Laptop (optional). You will have a retreat workbook for notes and activities.
