[Stay Strong] When Some Love Your Ideas and Others Think You're Nuts

What do you do when some people love your new business idea and others think you're nuts?

Do you bask in your brilliance?

Do you avoid talking to certain people?

Do you believe you're the next Elon Musk?

Recently I launched my own new business idea called Live Like Your Nail Color. If you're wondering, what the heck, check it out here.

I know right now there are a lot of entrepreneurs and small business owners who are considering new ideas for the new year. So I thought I would share some of the insights that I gained in the process.

One of those insights is that some people will love your new idea and others will think you're crazy.

When I started to share this concept of Live Like Your Nail Color to some of the women that I already know, they were "Oh my God, I love it!" They immediately got it. They resonated with it, and they couldn't wait for me to get it out.

Others were, "Hmm, tell me more." And so I did. Many of them got it and were definitely curious.

But then there were others who, by the look on their face, their lack of enthusiasm and basically their silence, that I could see an invisible bubble over their head that read, "You are crazy, I do not get this at all."

Years ago, I concluded that:

Some say I'm too much.

Others say I'm not enough.

And I say, so what?

The thing is in my heart of hearts, I believe this is a good idea worth pursuing. And even more so, I know that I'd have regrets not going for it. Because I'm not doing this to prove the naysayers wrong.

I am doing this because I must. It's about a conviction and a commitment to do something that bring hope, light, and truth into the world.

Is your business idea something that you must do? Only you know. However, if it is, it will give you juice that's going to serve you and others for a very long time.
