[Level Up] 3 Steps to Stay Strong
No one and nothing stays the same. You are either leveling up or sliding down.
Ouch, I know.
Some very good news: As a woman entrepreneur, these last 2 years you kept adjusting and didn't give up. You got stronger and smarter. You didn’t slide down.
Now as you look at another year of uncertainty/unknown/whatever you need to get even smarter. You need to level up.
Level up your thinking.
Level up your strategy.
Level up your mindset.
Level up your personal wellbeing.
Level up your positive energy.
Level up your resilience.
When you level up you make a significant shift for a very good personal reason.
For example, I have one client who wants to shift and level up where most of her revenue comes from so she can have more precious time. To feel healthier and to do more that brings her joy.
Another client wants to level up her processes and mindset so she can sustain her business momentum without burning out.
And another client wants to level up her consistency of focus and action to achieve a long-time goal of attracting the team to multiply her business.
Why you feel the urge to level up is deeply personal and unique. But figuring out what you want to level up and how are the same for everyone. Here are 3 steps:
Step 1: Take time to reflect
No way around it. Successful, fulfilled people deliberately take time away from their daily activities of running their business and their lives to think. About where they’ve been, where they want to go, and how to get there. Reserve 30 minutes this week on your calendar right now.
Step 2: Answer 2 simple, powerful questions
In your 30-minute personal session ask yourself:
What are 3 big things I want to be true about myself and my business by the end of the year?
Big things that would truly be a shift. Something you’ve wanted for a long time. Something that the pandemic party made very clear. Something you can imagine but isn’t real yet.
What difference would it make in your life or business if these 3 big things were true by the end of the year?
Your immediate response is your first why. Go deeper. Why is that first “why” important? Keep asking yourself why until you get to the core that deeply resonates.
Step 3: Make it real
Next ponder this:
What do you need to start doing, stop doing, and continue doing to make leveling up real right now?
Bet this is a question you don’t often ask yourself. But it’s a game-changer because to level up you must do things differently than you are today. What you need to stop doing is often the catalyst to a new level of thinking and internal freedom.
Taking 30-min by yourself to ponder these questions will put you on the path to leveling up.
To accelerate your path to leveling up, do it with others. There’s just nothing that replaces interaction with a small group of committed women entrepreneurs to reflect, brainstorm, and get feedback. Add a coach to the mix and shazam!
