"Recently I told my granddaughter Zoey that I planned to pick her up at school soon, and of course, she was excited.  She didn't even wait for me to ask what she wanted; she immediately started planning our time together.  I told her that I had a new nail color to try called Flip Flop Fantastic.  Right away she came up with what to do.  'Let's pretend we're walking across a stage in our flip flops with our new nail color and everyone is saying they look fantastic!  Then after we paint our nails and we're waiting for them to dry, let's swing and pretend we're twins.'  What a way to combine two of her favorite things.  She drew me back to the joy of being a child again.  This is the way life was meant to be!"

Sometimes it takes the eyes of a younger generation to rekindle our spirit.  Good for you, Susan, for being open to it!
