E-Nuff Is E-Nuff for Amy

Amy told me that after hearing me speak she decided it was about time she did something about her naked nails.

"I normally go for lighter colors because it drives me crazy when dark colors chip, but decided to go out on a limb and pick a bright one called E-Nuff Is E-Nuff.  It was a perfect name because it's time for me to break out of the box.

Later, we went over to another couple's house for dinner.  I've known the husband for over 20 years and I don't think he's ever seen me with nail polish.  He immediately noticed and asked if I was going through a mid-life crisis.  Actually, I was flattered because age 52 is rather late in life to have a mid-life crisis.  I replied that it was cheaper and safer than buying a Ferrari, and we all laughed."

Will You Mariachi Me?

Claudia and Tim had been dating for several years and she knew he was the one.  But he gave no clue if or when he would pop the question.  Then, one evening after celebrating Claudia's birthday dinner at the restaurant of their very first date, Tim handed Claudia a small, gift-wrapped box.  Inside was a single bottle of elegant mauve-colored nail polish.

Claudia loved nail polish but she was puzzled.  Tim told her to check the name of the color.  When she turned over the bottle it read, "Will You Mariachi Me?" with the "achi" part scratched out.  He then got down on his knees right there in the restaurant and proposed.

Oh, how playful and romantic!  She has reportedly been living like her nail color ever since.

Feeling Flip Flop Fantastic!

Sometimes it takes the eyes of a younger generation to rekindle our spirit.  That's what happened to Susan with her six-year old granddaughter Zoey.  Susan writes:

"Recently I told my granddaughter Zoey that I planned to pick her up at school soon, and of course, she was excited.  She didn't even wait for me to ask what she wanted; she immediately started planning our time together.  I told her that I had a new nail color to try called Flip Flop Fantastic.  Right away she came up with what to do.  'Let's pretend we're walking across a stage in our flip flops with our new nail color and everyone is saying they look fantastic!  Then after we paint our nails and we're waiting for them to dry, let's swing and pretend we're twins.'  What a way to combine two of her favorite things.

She drew me back to the joy of being a child again.  This is the way life was meant to be!"
