What about Stage 6? Christmas Day arrives and we look at our family and realize all that other "stuff" matters not. What DOES matter is that we are here at this place, at this time, together, whether in actuality or in the heart/mind. What blessings we have received and we have so much for which to be thankful. Then, I sigh and say to myself, "Yes, I have once again fooled myself into believing I should be "Wonder Woman" when all my family wanted was me.

Love the photo of the white Cadillac, thanks for sharing!
As for the five stages, I decided to pare down everything this year. Gifts only for the kids, neighbors are contributing food, and the kids helped me clean the house. I never finished putting up the lights outside and that's just the way it goes. I'm pretty Zen this year, for which I'm grateful. I don't need to do it all and my house does NOT need to be perfect.
Happy Holidays!
